SEASONAL COOKING, SMALL-BATCH BAKING, WINE-LED EVENINGS . . .

Black Wheat Club is an independent modern bistro that shifts from daytime bakes and brunch to relaxed wine and bistro-style plates in the evening.

Our brunch menu highlights fresh, locally sourced ingredients, served alongside house-baked breads, pastries, and specialty coffee.

In the evening, we offer a changing selection of seasonal sharing plates that are bold, playful, and built to surprise. The wine list is ever-evolving, approachable and full of gems. We pour wines from winemakers who share our philosophy, both in craft and care.

At BWC, we believe in keeping things balanced - everything is considered, but nothing is overdone.

Please note: this is a sample menu -

  • Do we have a menu?
We sure do! We try to keep our socials stocked with the latest lineup, though please bear in mind that our menu’s always on the move, changing often with whatever fresh, seasonal ingredients we get our hands on.
  • Do I need to book?
Please note: we only take reservations for our EVENING SERVICE. You generally don’t need to book. We love walk-ins and usually have a few spots free, even in the evening. That said, if you want to lock in your seat or you’re planning to come with a bunch of friends or family, we’d recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment. To book a table, please visit: https://www.blackwheatclub.com/reservations or drop us an email: info@blackwheatclub.com Important: For groups of 5 or more please email us directly at info@blackwheatclub.com Please note: the largest booking size we can offer is a table of 8 guests. 24 hours advance notification is required in order to cancel the booking.
  • Do we allow dogs?
Totally. We’re dog-friendly. Calm pups are more than welcome to hang while you snack.
  • Are you accessible for wheelchairs and prams?
Our ground floor dining area is accessible for wheelchairs, though we want to note that, our toilets are unfortunately not accessible, as they’re located on the first floor. As for prams, we do our best to accommodate them, but it can depend on how busy the space is at the time. We’re usually happy to welcome foldable prams, which we’ll do our best to tuck away safely. That said, we don’t have a dedicated storage area, so prams need to be stored in a safe corner of the room. If you’re planning a visit and have any accessibility needs, feel free to reach out ahead of time - we’ll always do our best to help.
  • Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
We don’t offer a dedicated gluten-free or dairy-free menu. Since we are a bakery, there is a high risk of cross-contamination with gluten in our kitchen, so unfortunately, we are unable to guarantee that any of our dishes are strictly gluten-free. For this reason, we are unable to accommodate guests with coeliac (celiac) disease safely. That said, whenever possible, we are happy to offer modifications to some of our dishes to suit certain dietary needs, such as reducing or removing dairy ingredients. We recommend informing our team ahead of your visit or when you place your order so we can do our best to assist you. Your safety and enjoyment are very important to us, so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or specific requirements.
  • Do we offer vegan or vegetarian options?
Yes, we always have vegetarian / vegan option available on our menu. Whenever possible, we’re happy to modify your order to accommodate your dietary needs.
  • Do we serve Halal?
We don’t specifically offer halal-certified meat or other products on our menu. However, we do have a number of vegetarian and fish-based dishes that may be suitable, depending on your dietary preferences. Feel free to ask our team when you visit.
  • Do we offer private hire / private dinning?
Due to space limitations, we don’t offer private dining, however, private hire may be possible, depending on the date and nature of your event. We’re happy to discuss options and see what’s possible. Please email: info@blackwheatclub.com if you're interested in private hire.
  • Do we have any positions available?
We’re always happy to hear from people who love what we do and are interested in joining the team at BWC. If you'd like to explore job opportunities with us, feel free to send your CV or get in touch via info@blackwheatclub.com. We’ll keep your details on file for any future openings.
